Auckland FC has launched its inaugural Fan Representative Group (FRG) to provide supporters with a direct platform to share feedback, ideas, and receive updates from the club.
Emphasising its commitment to being a community-focused organisation, the FRG includes passionate fans from diverse backgrounds and aims to ensure all voices are heard, from families attending matches to die-hard supporters in The Port.
The group, currently comprising eight members with room for two more, will meet at least four times a year.
The first meeting, held in November, addressed the club’s season progress and shared insights from a recent membership survey.
Tim Adams, Chairman of Ellerslie FC, was elected as the FRG Chair and will also represent Auckland FC in the A-Leagues’ FRG, chaired by league Commissioner Nick Garcia.
Both groups aim to provide fans a platform to shape the future of the club and league through open discussion and consultation.
Fans can submit feedback for upcoming FRG meetings via an online form.
