Kansas City Chiefs star Travis Kelce received an unforgettable Christmas surprise from his teammates and NFL friends after his home was burgled in October.
The gifts, worth a reported $190,000, included $120,000 in memorabilia to replace items stolen during the robbery.
Among the treasures were signed jerseys from legends like Tom Brady, Ray Lewis, Rob Gronkowski, and Patrick Mahomes. Kelce’s brother, Jason Kelce, also secured a Saquon Barkley jersey for the thoughtful gesture. Kelce, deeply moved, expressed immense gratitude and plans to display the memorabilia in his man cave.
The robbery at Kelce’s Leawood, Kansas, mansion occurred while he was playing in a “Monday Night Football” game at Arrowhead Stadium.
The burglars reportedly stole $20,000 in cash and $100,000 in jewelry, though one of Kelce’s watches was later recovered during a separate investigation in Rhode Island.
Despite the ordeal, Kelce was overwhelmed by the support and generosity of his teammates, who helped him turn a challenging personal experience into a memorable holiday season.
